Issue files with their source context
A file without revision and scope context leaves the receiving team to guess whether it is suitable for the next task.
- Identify native software versions and the agreed exchange formats.
- List filenames, revisions, issue dates, and included disciplines.
- Document model origins, shared coordinates, units, and linked files.
Keep acceptance and open items separate
An issued model is not automatically an approved model. Record review status and identify the person authorized to accept the handoff.
- Describe included areas and elements alongside assumptions and exclusions.
- Carry unresolved issues, source gaps, and review comments with the package.
- Name the receiving reviewer, acceptance criteria, and next revision step.
